A plugin for Eclipse providing simple IDE-like support for SASyLF is now
available at www.sasylf.org. The plugin provides syntax highlighting,
invocation of the tool on saves, reporting errors within the IDE, and a
list of templates for frequently-used syntax. For more information and
installation instructions, go to:

If you're not on the sasylf-users list, Daniel Spiewak has also written
a jEdit mode for SASyLF, which includes syntax highlighting,
auto-indent, and support for running the tool and getting error
messages. See his posts at:

http://groups.google.com/group/sasylf-users

Let me know if there are any issues with the Eclipse plugin, or
most-requested features. It's still *very* primitive compared to say,
the Eclipse Java IDE, but hopefully it will still be useful. We do hope
to add other standard IDE features over time--an outline view that shows
rule definitions for quick reference is high on our list.

Thanks,

Jonathan
