Position: Enterprise Architect
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 12 Months
Note: The Enterprise architect is expected to have right mix of enterprise tech stack (exposure to Bizagi, RPA, Azure Microservices, Mainframes, DevOps..) for bfs domain and cloud/infra. MS technologies, Mortgage, lending, Loans, LOS, and Banking and financial Domain preferred
The Enterprise Architect is responsible and accountable for developing and managing enterprise architecture initiatives, strategies and roadmaps. The Architect will maintain a high-level, holistic vision of enterprise solutions and development initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and communicate Strategic Themes and other key business drivers for architecture to technical architects and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Analyze and maintain knowledge in technologies, application methodologies and frameworks, system integration methodologies, industry and market trends and determines their potential impact on the business.
- Perform as a strategic leader to guide the vision and execution of operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Manage operational aspects of any systems under Enterprise Architecture.
- Advocate effective architectural designs and optimizes current architecture and processes. Promote appropriate use of and adherence to reference architectures.
- Extensive knowledge of analysis and design of technology solutions and the relationships between multiple systems/support processes.
- Ability to develop, evaluate and present multiple solution approaches to meet business requirements and strategies.
- Collaborate with other technology domains (Business. Product, Development, Infrastructure, Security and Support) and provide architecture guidance and governance.
- Conduct/Participate in POC/POV for Enterprise Architecture team and make recommendations.
- Organize and manage the architecture artifacts (Design models, Specifications, Processes and policies).
- Lead and manage key enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Coordinate and facilitate vendor sessions/workshops and manage relationships with vendors.
- Work with little or no supervision
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline
- 12 years of overall IT experience with expertise in architecture, defining strategies, developing roadmaps and technology direction
- Ability to understand business vision, develop technology strategy to deliver systems/solutions that meet business objectives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Excellent communicator; strong interpersonal skills; ability to motivate employees/teams to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems; excellent teamwork skills
