Position: Peoplesoft Developer

Location: Miami Beach, FL

Duration: 12+ Months

 

 

Technical Proficiencies:

PeopleTools 8.56, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, Integration Broker (application messaging), Bl Publisher, nVision, Component Interfaces, Excel to CI, SQR, XML Publisher, Data Mover, Workflow, PS Query, PeopleSoft Security, Process Scheduler, Tuxedo, Weblogic, PIA, Java, App Application Server Domain, Process Scheduler Domain, Report Node, Event Notification Server, MS-SQL Server.

PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2: Functional Modules - AP, AM, GL, Cash Management, Deal Management, Lease Management

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience on PeopleSoft system development & administration including: installation/configuration, maintenance, trouble shooting and performance tuning for PeopleTools (Application Server, Web Server, Integration Broker, Process Scheduler, etc.)
  • Experience in applying patches/fixes and installing new features including PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), change package creation and management via Change Assistant.
  • Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Systems Administrator implementing and managing PeopleTools 8.56.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the PeopleSoft infrastructure, environments, and tools.
  • Support and lead major initiatives and coordinate projects including implementing new modules, applying enhancements within PeopleSoft and managing upgrades of the PeopleSoft and ancillary applications.
  • Working closely with network engineers, systems engineers, architects and database administrators.
  • Responsible for architecting and designing application deployment environment to be robust, secure, reliable and highly available.
  • Setup, configure, and maintain all PeopleSoft application environments with MS SQL databases in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Script and automate routine maintenance tasks as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with network and server team on implementing necessary network, server, and operating system updates.
  • Proactively help in monitoring & managing PeopleSoft system security, health, performance, and trends in capacity utilization.
  • Isolate technical problems within the PeopleSoft system architecture and independently identify and test possible solutions.
  • Escalate difficult problems to Oracle support and third parties as appropriate.
  • Support PeopleSoft application by troubleshooting issues in Production and non-Production application environments and perform migrations between non-Production environments.
  • Refresh production data into pre-production environments as needed by the IT and functional team.

 

Required Competencies and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft products & information systems processes.
  • Extensive experience in progressively responsible positions focused on PeopleSoft system administration including: installation/configuration, maintenance, trouble shooting and performance tuning for PeopleTools (Application Server, Web Server, Integration Broker, Process Scheduler, etc.) is a must.
  • Experience in applying patches/fixes and new feature including installation of PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), change package creation and management via Change Assistant
  • Working experience with SQL Server database setup and Admin functions (version 2017) including performance tuning and optimization, SQL Trace and DR Setup.
  • Support SDLC in an enterprise environment, including installation, review, deployment, configuration, jobs, backup, recovery, upgrades, and schema changes.
  • Strong technical documentation skills, analytical skills and the ability to solve complex and challenging problems in an efficient, maintainable, and flexible way.
