Rana promises to be a delight for Rajinikanth's fans. The actor will be seen in a triple role in the historical action film. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone, Tabu and Ileana. Sonu Sood - of Dabangg fame - will play the bad guy.Co-produced by Rajini and Eros International, Rana will be directed by K S Ravikumar, who has already worked with the star in Muthu and Padayappa.Rana will feature cinematography by R Rathnavelu and music by A R Rahman.
