Hi to all,
Well, at coffee the other night we got talking about what rides we
want to do this summer. Scramble and Invariant are keen to do a
Narrow Hills ride and a Cypress Ride this year, and I have to say I'd
like to do them as well. However, for me I am spending more riding
credit than I already have to explore TCAT routes, so I may not be
able to participate in all club rides this year. I'll keep my fingers
crossed...
These rides should be 3 to 4 days, and may include riding out to the
site either on slab or on dual-sport backroads, and some riding in the
local area as well. Both Cypress Hills and Narrow Hills provide
awesome dual-sport riding!
The first weekend in June was tossed around as a possible date for the
Cypress ride. Hopefully we can get a bit nicer weather this year, as
the 2010 ride was postponed a week and the 2011 ride wound up being re-
routed to the Narrow Hills.
Not sure on dates for Narrow Hills yet, but I'm open to suggestions.

Yep one can start getting excited when we have those plus 4 or 5
days. Way less snow up here this year (Narrow Hills) so the spring
should open up quickly if the weather stays the course.
Cabin will have a roof by spring but I sure am getting tired of
peeling logs.

Well that sounds great to me. I would like to go to Narrow Hills
again. Haven't been to involved with this group lately as life has a
way of getting in the way of playing. Apparently kiffer can relate to
that!

Hey Chris - please post up on ADSMC if you guys land on a date for
Cypress. I may be up for joining you if it's in June... seems the
last couple years that May has been a bit too early.

Yes Cyprus in June would be perfect as I haven't been able to go the
past few years due to a shooting event but I am looking to ride my 530
like a boss this year an I am only 1 hr from Cyprus. Heck of you want
come out next weekend there's no snow left, I'm considering firing up
my bike but I don't want to have to rewinterize if it gets ugly out

Andy, I'll definitely post to the ADSMC site in case anyone is
interested in meeting us there - including yourself. I'm thinking
that with the weather we've had on the last weekend in May for the
last 2 years we're due for a nice weekend!! But moving it to June
might give it that edge too.
I've got to use the trip to explore the TCAT through the area.
Hopefully I'll have a free day to actually ride in the park, though.
Cypress is way too much fun to just ride out and ride back without
going for a rip around the park area!
