Like an idiot I went and watched this video and now I have to add the
Alps to my list of rides-to-do-before-I-die. I'm going to need to
make a lot more money the way this is going...

Looks amazing. So many great places to ride.

How are you liking the Versys? Do you ride the KLR much anymore?

I'm in. I booked the month of September, 2019 for this... should give
me enough time to convince the powers-that-be that I need a month
riding in the Alps :)

I love the Versys for around town and on the slab. I don't ride the
KLR much anymore (since almost all of my riding is commuting to work
lately), but I rode it on the Manitoba ride and I'll absolutely use it
for that type of riding. The Versys is fine on gravel but doesn't
feel quite as stable or planted as the KLR does. My KLR is not the
newest bike in the world anymore, and it's nice to take these
commuting miles off of it and put them on a different bike. Next year
my son will be in the 18 to 24 month age range, and hopefully I can
get away a few more times than I did this year on the KLR - I really
love that type of riding, and while the KLR is not a KTM 530 it does
have a lot more off-road capability than the Versys.

September 2019 should be good for me, Andy. No wait, I've got an
Argentina ride already slated for that time, and a Mongolian ride for
August. How's your October looking? :D :D :D
