I decided to do a trip today that I tried once before this summer but
there was too much water. The route took me down the west division
road of Fort ala Corne coming out near Prince Albert (this section was
about 75 kms of winding bush roads. Then across Cecil ferry, through
Muskoday First Nations, across Fenton ferry to St Loius. Them a bit of
winding pavement on the way to Batoche, it turns back to gravel about
half way there. Across the St. Laurent ferry to Macdowell and then
cutting across country back to the Weldon Ferry which took me close to
home.
The entire trip was 428 kms and took me about 7 hrs but I did doddle
around quite alot. This was a very nice route for this time of the
year when the back country is dry but if it was wet there are spots
that would not be passable.

Nice job, Stan. Wish I could have come with. Looks like a terrific
route.

Have you got a GPS? If not we've got to get you one so that you can
get tracks of all these fabulous rides you do and I can see where you
went. Then when I finally get time to do it someday I'll have a ready-
made route waiting for me.

P.S. I don't think you need a 19" front wheel, you just need a
KLR... :D :D :D

Yeh I have it on the GPS, just need to figure out how to get it into a
file. My neice's boyfreind bought a new KLR this summer, took it for
a ride and was not disapointed. I was actually in the market for a
KLR when I bought the Funduro. Lots of good units on KIJIJI right now
farkled up and good prices. Who knows
