For those in the club who are more into the off-road side of things,
the ADSMC is setting up their annual Crowsnest Dual-Sport Ride. It'll
happen in August, either the weekend of the 18th or 25th as the post
here says:

You'll probably do some stuff like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6lhpUldROs&feature=related

...and some stuff like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avJOUtefPMM&feature=related

...and maybe even some stuff like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-2F3j1uMTI&feature=related

I don't know if I'll be able to make it or not. I'll be in Radium on
the 17th, but I may not be able to get the extra day or two away from
the family. I am hoping that I will be able to make it though, so
we'll see. However, I'm sure any friendly SDSC rider who had the
inclination to load up the bike and drive to Coleman Alberta for the
weekend would be welcome.

Kiffernathan is there a map of the route they take in that area?
Pilsbury, B and I were in that area last year on our way to the
Kootenies last year. Nice country in that area!

No map - I think they plan it just before they go and take different
routes year to year.

I've done a bit of riding in that area and for dual-sporting it's one
of the best there is - especially if you like the occasional
challenging trail.
