Job Title: Storage Administrator with Hitachi and NetApp Exp
Work Location & Address: OMAHA NE 68102-5011
Contract duration (in months):6 to 12 Months
Years of experience: 7+ Years of Exp
Education/ Certifications (Required) : Bachelors Degree

Job Details: 

Summary:
Storage administrator will be responsible for continued support, administration and maintenance of Business critical Storage Infrastructure for 7x24x365 operation. As a Lead Storage administrator he/she will be working closely with customer governance and architects to make improvements and take action to help ensure the stability of Storage infrastructure. He/She should be working with offshore teams based out of India to provide support services.

Must Have Skills – 
Hitachi and NetApp Storage exp.

Nice to have 
VMware, SUSE/RHEL Linux and Windows operating systems 
Capacity planning based on growth
ITIL V3 Understanding, Related documentation

Detailed roles and responsibilities:
Responsible for Hitachi/NetApp Storage administration for 24x7x365 global operation
Maintain Storage upgrades, patches
Maintain and Administer Hitachi G1000/800/VSP, NetApp FAS and V-Series nodes in cluster configuration and Cisco MDS Fabric Switches
Maintain and Administer NetApp SnapMirror/SnapVault Replications 
Storage provisioning as per application requirement - creating volumes, Raid Groups, zoning and LUN masking
Configuration and administration using Hitachi HCS, NetApp OnCommand tools, Cisco Fabric and device manager tools
Provide L2/L3 storage administration support and Data center operations
Resolving storage incidents and Root cause analysis for repeated Incidents
Troubleshooting and resolving storage performance issues
Capacity planning based on growth
Support Disaster Recovery exercises and events
Project planning and documentation
Adherence to agreed SLA
Understanding of ITIL V3
Understanding of VMware, SUSE/RHEL Linux and Windows operating systems
