No Bosses: Worker Self-Management in Argentina's Occupied Factories
A talk with Marie Trigona and Fabian Pierucci of the Occupied Factory Movement
Tuesday, March 6th
7PM - The Wildcat Social Center (1105 23rd Ave. Seattle)

Ten years after economic collapse, many of Argentina's occupied workplaces are still going strong.  Two young organizers and activists from Argentina will join us to talk about their experiences in the horizontal movements of Argentina, and the possibilities for a more egalitarian work-regime in the US.

Fabian Pierucci is a worker at the Hotel BAUEN, a 19 story worker occupied and self-managed hotel in downtown Buenos Aires.  Fabian also works as an economist with the Federation of Worker self-managed cooperatives as well as a documentary filmmaker and founder of Grupo Alavío, direct action and video collective.

Marie
Trigona is a writer, video maker, radio producer and translator whose work focuses on labor, human rights, community media and social movements in Latin America.  She is also a contributor to the recently published "The Accumulation of Freedom: Writings on Anarchist Economics."
