Public Participation & News: MassDEP Public Hearings & Comments
Assessment of C&D Derived Wood Used for Fuel
MassDEP, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Public
Health, is assessing the public health and environmental impacts of
using wood derived from construction, renovation, and demolition (C&D)
wastes as a fuel for electricity generation. The agencies have
published a draft Scope of Work for this assessment and scheduled two
public meetings for purposes of accepting public comment:
