Volunteer Opportunity for the Junior Solar Sprint Championship Sunday,
June 13, in Springfield, MA

Join us for a day of solar racing and fun! We need volunteers to take
on responsibilities big and small, for a full day or part of a day.
You can help with things like: setting up and monitoring the
racetrack, keeping scores communication between judges tabulating
results, readying the certificates and awards, helping with repairs,
distributing tee-shirts, etc. For your time and energy you will get:
a cool event tee shirt, a free lunch and plenty of satisfaction
knowing that through your community service you are supporting energy
education in action!

The Northeast JSS Championship is a culminating event whereby middle
school student teams are judged on the merits of their model solar
race cars.

Where: Springfield Science Museum, Springfield, MA
When: Sunday, June 13th
Time: 6:45 am to 6 pm (morning & afternoon slots available)
