A Media Workshop on Land Degradation, Desertification and Drought for
Environmental Journalists from Asia is being organized in May 2012.
Most of the issues that would be discussed at the workshop are of
utmost importance to South Asian region as well.
In the wake of Public Statement on the Supreme Court of India order on
Inter Linking of Rivers signed by more than 60 persons, events such as
this media workshop provide an opportunity in highlighting these
