Try the new SASC bulletin board

sasccarpool is no longer the Club's authorized bulletin board.  We now have a BB that's part of the Club website.  You can find it in the Members Only section.  Give it a try and share your experience with us.

I can't see any reason to shut down this group.  It won't be promoted or publicized by the Club, but will remain available to anybody who wants to make use of it.  I will still accept applications by SASC members to join.  A Google account is still required to become a group member and to be able to post.  A gmail account is one type of Google account and joining is fairly straightforward for those who have one.  Gmailers can contact me and ask to be invited to join.  Find my contact info on the Club website.  I'll send an email invitation that has a clickable link to add the recipient to sasccarpool.

I hesitate to encourage people who don't already have a gmail email account.  Google seems to be demanding more personal information all the time for admission to their social networking swamp.  Besides wanting to know more about you, Google can't resist continually changing the group user interface.  It's changed quite a bit since I used it last winter and logging in today took me to different pages than it did a week ago.
