Hi all,

its been a while since we have moved our build infrastructure to
GitHub/Travis. In case there were major problems during the move and as
a kind of archive, the old infrastructure is still running.

But, as all of the old systems are severely outdated and represent a
non-negligible security risk for our server, I would like to shut them
down in the near future.

In particular, I would completely shut down Jenkins and SonarQube as
they currently don't provide any functionality.

I would still keep the Gerrit instance running, but would move it to the
university network, meaning it would no longer be accessible from
outside the university. This would mean that some of us would still have
restricted access to the Gerrit changes if they are ever needed.
If we at some point in the future either go through the old Gerrit
changes or decide that it is not worth the time investment, we can
completely shut down the Gerrit instance as well.

Does anyone have an issue with this?
Otherwise I would proceed as described above on Monday. This still gives
anyone who is interested the opportunity to look through their old
Gerrit changes if they really want to.

Best regards,
Tobias

Hi all,

As an update for the previous announcement:
It took longer than expected, but our old Gerrit instance is no longer
reachable from the Internet since yesterday. The access is now
restricted to the Freie Universität network.

Best regards,
Tobias
