When in single frequency Graphic Display mode, if FREQ is selected with NavA, pressing Select pops up the Frequency window, where NavA selects the digit and NavB steps that digit. At the same time, the second line from the top of the screen shows the frequency prior to any changes being made.
When the Select button is pressed, this line reflects the new frequency – with the last digit that was changed highlighted. NavB is still able to change this digit, but NavA doesn’t allow selection of a different digit as it did in the pop-up window; instead it brings up the Single Frequency menu.
It would be handier if both Nav buttons remained functional here – just as they were in the pop-up window. Then larger frequency changes wouldn’t require using the pop-up. To leave this mode, you would press the Mode button as usual.
If I understood correctly, the problem I see is that it will not be possible to bring up the main menu since NavA was dedicated to this function. One possibility will be using Select button to bring up the menu instead, but I wonder if this would be confusing.
