Dear Friends,

 

I haven't been that close to Poojiya Dada as dear Ashok and many others in Dada Vaswani Centre who have dedicated themselves, but whenever I get opportunity I try not to miss his loving,laughing, heart touching  and ever alive messages. The recent one which got stuck in my mind was:

'I love you' is a common phrase being used  by family members and others almost now and then, but how many times we remember to tell God 'I love you'.

I might have been practicing and so also many of you something or the other like mantra, hanuman chalisa, bhajans and participation in pujas, etc. but the frequency of 'I love you God' may not be that much, and also sincerely coming out of our heards,  against what favours we receive from Him every second, every minute, every moment up to the end of our life.

So please do go through the reminder of Bhau Ashok for Dada's Town Hall program.

 

Though I already sent out greetings to all of you on this Father's day, the following favourite bhajan of Pradeep Chatterji, which you'll might have heard many times comes to my mind for our "Param Pita' and I would love to share with you a para once again with you:

Dear Friends,

As many of you are aware, next week Dada is coming to town. He will be with us for about 8 days beginning on Thursday, June 14. He holds a three day spiritual camp starting Friday, June 22 (which you can still register for, and is most highly recommended). And then he departs for London and India.

While here, Dada has a couple of signature events scheduled and hopefully we all make the most of the opportunity. The primary and most anticipated event happens at 6:30 PM on Thursday, June 21, 2012: "Slow Down Your Pace" - A short talk followed by a Question & Answer Session, at the Town Hall, 123W 43rd Street, Manhattan.

Over the last three years many of us have got together at Tea at the homes of Sunil & Kiran and Ashok & Veena to plan a tumultuous welcome for Dada in appreciation of what he keeps on doing for the community even at his advanced age. In God's will, despite our best laid plans, these programs have not come to pass. And Dada's public events keep on getting scaled back due to his health.

However, the Town Hall event is happening. It is our only opportunity this year to get every one we know to come and meet, and greet Dada, and partake in our joy. And for him to feel the love and warmth of New York. The event flyer is attached to this email. It is time now for us to get to work. And our work is really quite simple. Forward the flyer along with a personal invitation to everyone you know that lives in this area, whether friend, relative, co-worker, or business associate, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, or Jewish. The event is open to all, and all must get to see the proud heritage of our Sindhi community and meet its crown jewel, Dada!

We have met many times, planned much, but now is the time to rejoice, and time for action. The beauty about this service is that joy, when shared, doubles. There is amazing peace and happiness in this effort. Let us get to work.
