Greetings SARA members!

Is anyone still using data loggers to measure temp/humidity in their collection spaces? If so, would you mind sharing what type of device you have and whether or not it is WiFi capable?

We have some really old ones that are not produced anymore and need maintenance, our leadership would like us to investigate more modern options.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Best,

Andrea

Hello Andrea,

We have implemented Onset’s MX1101 series of Bluetooth dataloggers.  They are small and somewhat discreet, the LCD screen can be turned on or off depending on where it is, and they connect to the HOBOConnect app on your phone through Bluetooth.  (You have to be nearby to download or see the readings.)

Thanks,

Leslie

UTSA uses testo Saveris 2 sensors. They are WiFi capable and can generate graphs and automatic alarms through an online interface.
