Volunteer Update:

We are gearing up for our last two events of the year:  SE Regionals and the End of Year Banquet.

Please review our MANY openings for this weekend’s regatta.
Remember, it’s only an hour away!  We’re back at Lake Lanier for the weekend.

Highlights:
THURSDAY :  May 7th- help load the tent city trailer, meet Scott at the boathouse from 5-6pm.
FRIDAY - May 8th - Our fantastic duo of Scott Childress and Jeff Hawkins will be bringing up the Tent City Trailer.  Because the regatta is so close, we could really use a few helpers to meet them there (or ride up with them) on Friday and help secure the best Tent City home base, unload tents & tables, minimal set up.  This could be handled be either a man or woman - fairly light duty.  But it goes much better with 3-4 people.  You would be on site about an hour and could easily get back home before school’s out.
Meet Scott AT THE VENUE from 1-2pm.
SATURDAY - May 9th - The athletes will be arriving between 6:45 and 7am.  We’ll need to have a nice amount of food, etc., ready to fuel them up for the day.  Which means we need EARLY morning Tent City volunteers.  Drop off your child at SA for the bus at 5:30am and then head on up to help!
There are multiple openings throughout the day, but the early morning is the biggest need.

SUNDAY - May 10th - Yes, we’re back again for Day 2 of this regatta.  The team will be eating breakfast at the hotel but we still need a crew to start up Tent City by 7am.  And then close out, typically around 3pm.  CALLING ALL DADS!  This is Mother’s Day - Step up at Tent City and help out!!

EOY Banquet - thankfully, we are in excellent shape, thanks to some fantastic work by Carolyn Peacock, Helena Nelson and Amy Holland.
