Dear SA family,
So here are some quick reminders for this weekend’s regional championships in Lake Lanier and a few more for next week. For you Intro and Competitive middle school families- this is a terrific opportunity for your athlete to check out some tremendous competition and athletes in a great atmosphere and very close to home, in addition to cheering on their team! Feel free to find our bright yellow tents and join us for food and fellowship any time this weekend!
SOUTHEASTERNS TRAVEL REMINDERS (novice and varsity only: Rowers should be at the boathouse no later than 5:30 tomorrow am to depart in school busses for the venue at Lake Lanier. Remind your athlete to pack a bag (incl. sleeping bag and pillow) with any regatta needs to carry on the bus AND a separate overnight bag for the hotel. Overnight bags will be loaded into a separate truck in the am and delivered to the hotel after departure Saturday morning. Rowers will NOT have access to luggage except at the hotel Saturday night and will NOT be able to leave anything on the bus during the day. Please label all bags!
PARKING AT SA FOR THE WEEKEND (novice and varsity only): should ONLY be in the small lot next to the old playground. Pick up on Sunday is in the gravel lot next to the church.
REMAINING VOLUNTEER NEEDS (novice and varsity only): Saturday AM - 6:30am. Tent City is preparing a hot and healthy breakfast and needs more hands at the early slot. Drop off your rower at 5:30 and head up to the course. Report to Tent City upon arrival and lend a hand!
Sunday PM: Noon - End of Regatta. As you may have noted, the last race on Sunday is around 12:30. This will be a short shift. Clean up is simple and quick. Many hands make light work! If you can help and are not yet sign up, please go to Sign up Genius at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080f48a8ae283-sarc8.
TEAM PHOTOS ARE POSTED (all squads): Go to : www.KarenRyanPhoto.com click “Regatta" link. Take a look at the individual team photos, or the entire team photo. You may place your order online, money will be collected by Amy Holland either at the regatta this weekend, or at the banquet on Wed. evening. ( cash or check only! Checks made out to Karen Ryan photography). All team photos are 5x7, they are $15. ea. There is also the option to purchase the All Team poster size 20X30 for $30. ( great price!). We will have photos for you to view at the regatta, look for Amy around tent city!

Wednesday- All-team banquet at Roswell Adult Learning Center in Roswell. Please RSVP asap if you have not as of yet and see the evite for times and other details. This is a great night for our athletes!
