Hi again everyone,
Due to the current state of our numbers, we have decided to accept an opportunity to tag along with Albany for this spring season. In addition to our own practices, which are tbd in regards to a start date at the moment, we will have the opportunity to join Albany at their's and help them out with numbers for their spring games (and the NERFU cup if you'd like). In addition to their schedule, we are also planning on setting up a handful of our own tens matches with some other teams in the area that, like us, are more along the lines of a social club and hope to really go hard in regards to recruitment and player retainment. Being able to practice and play with Albany, in addition to having our own practices and matches, will provide us with the opportunity to create a more dynamic, tangible setting. This will hopefully help foster not only the growth of our program back to a more stable entity, but also continue to help strengthen and grow the rugby community in the capital district as a whole.
I'm truly excited for this chance and all of the possibilities that lie ahead for Saratoga Women's Rugby and I hope that all of you will be too. If you have any questions/comments/concerns, please let me know.
