Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, and stumbled across Sarasvati as part of research on some other topic (non-traditional database management systems, and their usage in various domains, including BPM). A thought occurred to me in this context:
Firstly, it is apparent that Sarasvati conceptualizes its process definitions in the form of a graph. Secondly, the many-to-many relationships between Work Items and Participants (each Work Item may have multiple Participants, and each Participant can work on multiple Work Items) may possibly also be represented in the form of a graph.
For this standpoint, has anyone ever evaluated the use of a graph based DB (like Neo4j) for the persistence layer in Sarasvati, instead of relational databases like Oracle or MySQL? If you think this idea has any value, I or some of my colleagues may be able to carve out some time to work with you on this.
