Please note, due to families out of town, there will be no services this week in Shul.
We may have better luck next Shabbos. Stay tuned.

Make an eruv tavshilin before the holiday to allow cooking for Shabbos on Pesach II.

Set up a flame for lighting candles, stoves, etc. before the holiday begins.

Wed April 5
Candle lighting: 7:28 PM, Holiday begins 7:46 PM.

 

Thursday, April 6

FIRST DAY PESACH -

SHEMA before 10:03 AM.

We begin saying “Morid Hatal” at Musaf.

Shekiyah/Sunset -   7:48 PM           

First Day of Pesach ends – Light Candles After 8:49 PM

REMEMBER TO COUNT THE OMER AFTER NIGHTFALL: “TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE OMER.”

SECOND SEDER THURSDAY NIGHT

 

Friday, April 7

SECOND DAY PESACH - FIRST DAY OF THE OMER – EREV SHABBOS

If forgotten last night, according to the Ezras Torah luach the first day can be counted all day until sunset without a bracha, then subsequent days can be counted with a bracha (Consult your Rabbi.).

Shema before 10:02 AM

Davening changes to "v'tain bracha."

 

CANDLE LIGHTING FOR SHABBOS: 7:30 (do not light after sunset)

Shekiyah/Sunset -   7:49 PM

Shabbos Chol Hamoed – Day 2 of the Omer

 

Saturday, April 8               

Zeman Shema: before 10:01 AM

Sunset is 7:49 PM.

Shabbos ends: Shul tradition, 60 min.: 8:49 PM. 42 min.: 8:32 PM; 72 min.: 9:02 PM. Count day 3 of the Omer.
