🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂

Hi!

This is my first email as Flavorwire's Editor-at-Large (which basically means I'm a generalist/politics/culture staff writer).

--> Since I'm back to publishing pieces daily, I will no longer be sending all my bylines via this newsletter, and I'm soon going to slow down with sharing on Facebook, too. But if you're interested in seeing what I write on the regular, you can follow my Tumblr (RSS here) or my secret, byline-only Twitter feed.

You can even subscribe to my tumblr via email--that means you'll get an email every 1-3 days. This is not for the faint of heart or the heavy of inbox. https://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=SarahMarian

Also, of course Follow Flavorwire on Twitter and Facebook or sign up for our newsletter:  http://link.flavorpill.com/join/flavorwire-signupOtherwise, do nothing. I'll just keep sending a selection of my fave pieces seasonally via this very newsletter!

And now for the writing.

🍂 Short fiction:

A cool literary magazine published one of my short stories, "Mitzvah Day" as a podcast with accompanying original music. It involves online stalking, a nursing home, crossword puzzles and of course, death. It is a short story, after all.

🍂 An advice column:

I showed up as a guest advice-giver at the Forward's Seesaw column, talking about dealing with anti-choice in-laws.
