Hi Everyone!

Announcements:

One, my essay on feminist principles in the now-ending TV show "Friday Night Lights" will be published in the forthcoming book "A Friday Night Lights Companion."

Once the book appears, you can buy the essay directly. But if you're a fan of the show, the book is awesome, and cheap (the ebook is three bucks I think), and comes highly recommended.

Plus, my father-in-law Paul Levinson has a piece in it too!

Two, the 15th anniversary issue of Bitch magazine is still on newsstands (and apparently, in hipster record stores) and it features "Hunger Pangs," my essay on teen girls, Twilight, and the Hunger Games (Speaking of the Hunger Games, I also wrote about the series for Jezebel.)
