So finally we've got a mailing list for all Saracon related stuff. This way
everybody can adjust the level of information for himself, join and leave, etc.
Currently we have got not that many news except this nice new list. But there
will be a new release someday, preceeded by a series of betas. Actually there's
still a beta which hasn't turned into a release - the 1.61-30 - which is
available from
mac: http://www.weiss.ch/downloads/Saracon-01.61-30.dmg
win: http://www.weiss.ch/downloads/Saracon-Setup-01.61-30.exe
I won't post user name and password on this list but most of you know it anyway.
I'll send it out personally on request though.
There's a known problem with this release: You should delete the preferences
file as it might cause problems.
I'm looking forward to having nice and inspiring discussions here.
Regards
Uli

I paste here the release notes again:

> We are proud to present you yet another beta of Saracon with a new and very
> powerful feature:

> file. Saracon assists you in assembling the appropriate commands by
> providing conversion specific variables like path, filename, extension
> and much more for source and target. Please refer to the manual for more
> in detail explanations, examples and more. The updated manual comes with
> the installation package, please note that the manuals on our website
> belong to the previous (non beta) release. Run Saracon and hit F1.
