Eggs. All this time it was the eggs. Since we've cut out all eggs in Xavier's diet his eczema has pretty much gone away. A 180 degree turn around. Amazing. His skin looks so good now, and he's sleeping better. We are so happy!!
Here is a "before" photo of his skin
A few times he would get a full body rash/hives
This was during the allergy testing
And now, with eggs out of his diet, here are some "after" photos
We also want to give a BIG thank you to Grammy Edie for making the trip down to help look after the kids for 2 weeks while both Mama and Dada had work events and trips. Plus with the crazy weather (ice and snow) and sickness, we couldn't have done it without her help. Thank you again!!!
Here are the latest news and notes for both Xavier and Bridget:
Xavier: 2 years, 2 months
- He has definitely found his independence and says " I do it!", but won't be too proud to ask a few seconds later "help pweeze"
- Still asks for help to get the last bit of applesauce or yogurt from the cup
- Is amazingly patient with little Bridget, especially when she crawls over and destroys the train tracks that he just built. *shakes his finger and says "no no Bridget"
- Loves watching the John Deere tractor movie from Aunt Katie, Cars from Grammy and Papa, and Finding Nemo
- Is now sleeping until 6am (MIRACLE!!)
- Eczema has cleared up with the absence of eggs - so glad we went to the allergist.
- Loves his trains, especially battery operated Diesel
- Constantly (and i mean constantly) asks "What's that noise?"
- Still loves his white blanky and asks for it if it is not in his crib at night. Has started to ask for Blue Bear as well.
- Enjoys jumping, being outside (even when it is freezing), playing with Camdyn and Reed, wagon rides, food, wrestling with Daddy, and cooking with Mommy
- Still afraid of dogs (we are working on this one)
- Favorite foods: bluegrapes (blueberries), gapes (grapes), nanas (bananas), stars (baby puff treats that are really for Bridget), and sack o tatoes (sweet potatoes)
- Is great at sharing his toys with his sister.
- Can count to 10
- Favorite song: The ABC's and can sing along for the most part.
- Favorite book: Disney Nursery Rhymes (mommy's least favorite as nursery rhymes are soo strange!)
