This has happened several times.

EZRA runs and then after a while it hangs up.

Please see the error messages in the attached file.

Any clues???

Thanks for reading.

I've seen those errors happen with a faulty SDR. When it falls over, is the device really hot?

Two comments :
1)  40 seconds is short for acquiring optimal  S/N data with 1m class systems   .. Consider 1 degree in drift = 4mins = 240 seconds
2)  The acquisition configuration is consuming as much time acquiring 1423 MHz  'correction' information as HLine data.
That can be derived from cold_sky regions within the HLine Frames, and thus,  no 'sky time'  is lost.

Alex is right of course, although ezRA can obtain excellent plots with short integration times and that allows less data to be discarded if you are taking the time to remove data with bad RFI spikes.
If ezCol uses default settings for frequency offset at 1423 MHz for reference sample collection then indeed you lose half the time collecting reference samples. However there is a setting in ezCol which allows you to define how often you collect a reference sample - if this is set to 1:10 then you will lose only 10% of your time - not as good (in terms of reducing loss of time to colleft referende samples) as using frequency outside region of interest in the signal sample suggested by Alex, but does limit data collection time loss.
