After the success of this last weekend’s support session for total beginners in hydrogen line radio astronomy, I am going to run another session on Saturday 29 August 19:00 UTC (20:00 BST). This is for people just getting started in this area of radio astronomy – no previous experience needed in any type of radio astronomy. (29th August to give me time to return from the SARA Eastern Conference and recover from the jet lag!)

This is NOT a follow up session to this last weekend’s group – those people should now send me an email to ask to be added to the mailing list for Monday evening practica hydrogen line radio astronomy group invites.

Rather it is aimed at people who could not come on Saturday last and are interested in more 1:1 help to get started. The group size will be limited to a maximum of eight – so far we have two. It is a practical session aimed at helping people develop their own projects and get them off the ground.

If you are interested in taking part, please e-mail me on and...@thornett.net

Please feel free to pass this invitation along to anyone who you know who might be interested.

Andy
