I have been patient monitoring trying to get a single meteor hit. Well I either got a plane or a meteor while monitoring 55.236.340 from Canada.

Still using my Quad Turnstile antenna. Path from Canada is over 2000km.

So maybe , maybe not but  at least it appears to be a reflection..

The four below screen shots out of 1000's. Maybe time wise it matches.

I still have some preamps and low pass filters to build but they are for 6 meters. Canada is a little higher.

I had loads of problems when I tried to detect meteors 12 years ago and eventually gave up! When I tried again few months ago, Voila! It worked. Not sure why. I did change to using FunCube Dongle Pro Plus which might or might not be relevant. Same location aerial and lead as before. I use a simple tuned homemade Moxon (not by me buy made by a proper radio Amateur who knows what he is doing) - very simple made from fishing rods(!) No capacitor or the like. Simple circular twist of aerial cable near the aerial. I have military grade RG58 on it which is really thick and expensive stuff but I doubt that was needed. The 10m run of it cost £100!
