Antenna Beam Pattern Characterization

I am initiating a SARA goal for members to be able to map the beam pattern of their antennas.

Alex put together a quick intro below.

I have also established a YouTube playlist "Antenna Characterization" 

I would like to see the antenna mappings in the ZOOM sessions.

super idea, Rich. I have often had the thought that a tinyvna would be the very best first investment for the serious amateur. Perhaps an email to that effect is in order.

It is equally significant to characterize the equivalent noise temperature of the system in addition to the antenna beam-width.

The Beam-width determines the angular resolution  and  the Tsys the depth/quality of the data/image .
