I copied the moon beacon ON0EME on 1296.000MHz for the first time today.

My antenna is a Horn 0.78m x 0.98m mouth ( return loss tuned to 1420MHz).
G4DDK VLN (tuned for best noise figure at 1420MHz)
TS-2000X receiver.

Wondering where on the Earth the ON0EME transmitter is?

Seems like that's important in figuring out when the moon is visible to both the tx and rx.

It is located in Belgium, Europa and on the air only when the moon is 10 degrees or more above it’s horizion.

To see if you download “WSJT” software or “Radioeyes” you can see the moon posistion and amount of dopplershift.
