Hi All

Looking for advice.

I have been given a solid satellite dish 160cm in size, but there is no mounting plate, etc., on back - just bare dish. What is best way to male something for back of dish to mount it with?

Mass about 10kg.

Tracking – I mount my hydrogen-line scopes on simple wooden constructions made from cheap wooden offcuts from my local hardware store. No tracking – I rely on the nifty software to work out all the points as Earth rotates (drift scans)…….maybe in future I will consider adding tracking, but sounds complex and expensive, and I’ve just retired due to poor health, so less money around………..

……and my wife has started to notice the cost of things!
