Hi everyone!
After my Horn Antenna (CHART-21), I tried making a parabolic - I was busy with my academics and I didn't have any money so I made them with stuff I already have.
I made a Loop antenna (Alex one) as a feed for my parabolic (1.2 meters) and also loop yagi (5 elements - for good impedance i arranged two loop elements near - simulated in feko)

I used cardboard sheet to make the parabolic shape and used aluminium foil.

I got this results - (RFI and some reflections too). i observed this on diwali (festival in India)

Later with the same loop antenna tried a small loop yagi

Amazing stuff! Well done. You should come along to our H-Line group meetings – would you like to be added to email list for link to join meetings? They are held at 7pm UK time on first Mondays each month. If you are interested, then send me your email address via the contact me page on my website www.astronomy.me.uk
