The Center for Gravitational Waves and Cosmology hosts a monthly talk series that is geared toward the public called “WVUniverse”.
Once a month, they have a featured expert come and speak to audiences about a certain topic like gravitational waves, pulsars, radio astronomy, solar systems, etc. After each talk they host a fun trivia game with a chance to win a small prize. These talks are open to all ages, and are free. I believe it is in person only since I did not receive a link for remote connection.
The talk for November will focus on cryogeology and will feature NASA scientist, Dr. Caitlin Ahrens.
