Water and Electricity in the South West, USA

As  you  all know  the  Colorado River   Basin is  dry and   vanishing. I live  in  South West  Colorado. USA.  My neighbors,   all have solar  panels on  there  roofs   helping but   they  ask  me  why  do    I have  antennas  on my  deck?  

I  believe   it  is  very  important  to monitor our  GOES  Sats   for long  term data and  analysis....
