Just a reminder of tomorrow's meeting. We are going to be doing some practical exercises together, so please ensure that you have installed GNU Radio on the computer you use for the meeting (if you can but of course you are still welcome to participate if you cannot),
and bring your favourite SDR and an antenna - or in lieu of an antenna a plain metal paperclip!
Please also ensure you have the resources for the course downloaded on your computer - these are same ones we have used in past. If you dont have these then contact me on andrew at thornett dot net.
Objective of tomorrow's meeting: Using an SDR with GNU Radio and GUI modification of flowgraphs. Chett Mitchel will give presentation on Airspy source block and also demonstrate using our previous FM flowgraph he has modified with loads GUI inputs. I will then do similar presentation for RTL-SDR. Then we will all modify our own previous AM flowgraph adding in source block for our own SDR and GUI inputs to make flexible fun radio interface that they can run and modify on the fly during the meeting.
