Last December, I purchased both the nooelec H1 System and a Kraken Discovery Feed to compare performance .. Documentation of the Kraken was posted previously.

There seems to be an issue with the positioning of the dipole <> dish in  the nooelec system as it is way beyond the '35cm'  for a 1m f/D 0.35 dish ..
Moving the dipole as supplied mounted at 41cm  to 28cm improves performance .

I've read the documentation and taken measurements on my antenna, and indeed, the dipole is quite far from the focus of the parabola.

I find it surprising that a parabolic antenna with the dipole incorrectly positioned is being sold.

Does anyone know if Noolec has provided any answers regarding this?

I will modify the arm length and measure the gain to verify that it shows a higher performance at around 32 cm.

Thanks for the information.

Hello Miguel,

I sent all of that to Nooelec .. they verified receipt and said they would evaluate it ..
That was Dec/Jan .. Never a follow-up.
