Direct soundcard input & large VLF aerials

Following on from my post yesterday, I have now set this new SID monitor up on a mini-PC of its own for long-term monitoring – I am amazed at how strong the signals are with this arrangement – which I can only put down to the larger 134cm cross used for the aerial – the wire used is the same as on my other 70cm aerials = 150m of 22 SWG enamelled copper wire. I have added on this current arrangement 10 uF capacitor on one arm going into the soundcard.
