Testing the NANO VNA

Hi

I purchased a Nano VNA and would like to test it with NANO Sawbird.

Is it necessary to put an attenuator on it?

I viewed a Youtube video where someone did attached them to the VNA.

From  my experience  it is always a  good idea  to  start with attenuation    so  that  you  don't harm your  lna input.    I start  with  20  db  attenuation   and  then  move  toward less  until that I get  good frequency  response for my tests.

I have  not   found good docs  on lna  inputs.  But  here  is what I  use
