Representing Australia in New York — Standing Proud for Israel 🇮🇱🇦🇺

Hi Aussie Sarelniks,

I’m still buzzing from my incredible experience in New York City! I recently had the huge honour of representing Sar-El Australia on May 18th, 2025, at the Israel Day Parade — what a thrill!

Marching down 5th Avenue in Manhattan with over 45,000 people showing their support for Israel was something truly special. The atmosphere was full of energy — flags everywhere, people singing, and a powerful sense of unity. It’s a moment I’ll never forget.

While I was there, I proudly held the Aussie flag high — representing not just Sar-El Australia, but all of you. Everyone who’s volunteered, supported, or even just thought about joining again — you were with me.

You all know Sar-El offers such a meaningful way to connect with Israel — hands-on, practical, and from the heart. Every task supports the IDF and helps strengthen Israel in a very real way.

I’m incredibly proud to be part of this global Sar-El family — and I’m more motivated than ever to help more Australians get involved, feel that connection, and be part of something bigger.

After the parade, we wrapped up the day with a truly inspiring Sar-El dinner — yes, we were all exhausted in the best way! Over 200 volunteers, supporters, and reps from around the world came together. We didn’t just celebrate — we connected. We shared ideas for the future, heard from passionate speakers, and left feeling re-energised and grateful.

A huge thank you to the amazing team who made it all happen: Keren (our powerhouse CEO), Ronen (Chairman), Aiden, Paula, Elizabeth, Johanna, Laura (Israel support staff), Kevin (President of American Friends of Sar-El), and Shoshana (USA Rep). Whether behind the scenes or simply showing up on the day — everyone helped make something really special happen.

To be in New York, waving the Israeli, American, and Australian flags side by side, representing Sar-El and marching proudly — it’s something I’ll carry with me for a long, long time. I feel incredibly grateful, and more inspired than ever to help make Sar-El Australia grow and thrive.

And just a little secret... we’re working on bringing a bit of the Sar-El experience to Australia! So stay tuned — but shhh, don’t tell anyone yet — we’re still figuring out the when, where, and how. We’ll definitely be reaching out to those of you who’d love to help us make it happen.
