Key Responsibilities
Design and lead the
enterprise master data governance strategy and framework for S/4HANA global
template consolidation
Architect SAP MDG solution
covering key domains: Customer (MDG-C), Vendor/Supplier (MDG-S), Material
(MDG-M), and Finance (MDG-F) including chart of accounts and cost center
harmonization
Lead master data
harmonization workshops to identify duplicates, conflicts, and gaps across
multiple regional SAP instances
Define master data governance
rules: data ownership, stewardship workflows, approval hierarchies, validation
rules, and data quality scoring
Configure MDG business rules
framework (BRF+) for data validation and enrichment workflows
Design MDG consolidation and
co-existence scenarios for phased migration waves (region-by-region instance
merges)
Collaborate with data
migration team on MDG-to-LSMW/migration cockpit handoff, defining data mapping
and transformation rules
Integrate MDG with S/4HANA
operational processes: vendor invoice matching, customer order management,
material requirements planning
Define key performance
indicators (KPIs) for master data quality and establish ongoing MDG operational
governance model
Lead SIT and UAT for all MDG
workflows; train data stewards and business data owners
Produce MDG architecture
documentation, data governance policy documentation, and data dictionaries
Required Qualifications
8+ years SAP master data
management experience with 4+ years specifically in SAP MDG
Hands-on MDG configuration
experience across at least two of the four core domains: MDG-C, MDG-S, MDG-M,
MDG-F
At least 1 full-cycle MDG
implementation on a multi-instance consolidation or global rollout program
Experience with BRF+
(Business Rule Framework Plus) for MDG validation rule configuration
Strong data modeling skills:
entity relationships, data hierarchy design, duplicate check configuration
Experience with MDG data
replication to ECC/S/4HANA operational systems (SOA/Web services, ALE/IDoc)
Knowledge of S/4HANA master
data changes: Business Partner (BP) migration replacing customer/vendor,
material ledger, profit center restructuring
Ability to lead
cross-functional workshops with business data owners, IT, and regional
stakeholders
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience on 4+ regional
instance consolidation programs (customer, vendor, material master
deduplication at scale)
Exposure to SAP Information
Steward or SAP Data Services for data quality profiling and ETL
MDG S/4HANA Cloud or MDG on
HANA experience
Knowledge of SAP Customer
Data Cloud (CDC) or SAP Customer Experience (CX) integration with MDG
Consumer Goods experience:
global material master complexity, retail customer hierarchies, global vendor
onboarding
