Job Description:-

Engagement S/4HANA Brownfield Consolidation – Multi-instance, Global Template

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of a unified SAP GTS global template consolidating five independently configured regional GTS environments, each with distinct legal content, customs procedures, and compliance configurations

• Conduct comprehensive fit-gap analysis across all five regional GTS instances — documenting configuration variations, country-specific legal content differences, and interface dependencies

• Define the global GTS architecture: centralized vs. decentralized GTS deployment model for the S/4HANA target landscape, including plug-in strategy per region

• Establish a phased migration approach aligned to the client's wave-based regional consolidation program

• Configure and harmonize SAP GTS Compliance Management across all regions: Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening, embargo and export controls, license determination, and legal regulation assignments

• Consolidate five regional SPL screening configurations into a single global compliance framework with region-specific legal regulation overlays

• Define and configure export control classification across US, EU, and APAC regulatory regimes for a complex global CPG product portfolio spanning personal care, oral care, and nutrition categories

• Manage SAP GTS legal content updates and patches across all active country configurations

• Design and configure customs declaration processes for key import/export markets including US (ACE/AES), EU member states, Brazil, Mexico, China, and Japan

• Harmonize bonded warehouse, inward processing relief (IPR), and outward processing procedures across regions into the global template

• Configure preference determination and rules of origin for relevant free trade agreements across the client's global trade lanes — USMCA, EU FTAs, CPTPP, RCEP

• Lead customs tariff number (HTS/HS code) master data consolidation across five regional instances, aligning product classification across global markets

• Define integration architecture between S/4HANA feeder system and GTS for all relevant document flows: purchase orders, sales orders, outbound deliveries, goods movements, and billing documents

• Validate GTS plug-in compatibility post-S/4HANA conversion and define plug-in upgrade strategy per regional migration wave

• Work with technical teams on ALE/IDoc interface mapping and interface changes arising from the ECC-to-S/4HANA conversion

• Lead GTS-specific SIT and UAT across all compliance and customs scenarios for each regional migration wave

• Design and execute GTS cutover plan per wave — including open customs declarations, pending SPL screening queues, and in-transit bonded goods

• Provide hypercare support post-go-live for each regional wave; manage trade compliance incident resolution and regulatory query handling

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP GTS functional consulting experience with at least 3 full-cycle global implementations

• Proven experience consolidating multiple regional GTS instances into a single global template — not single-country deployments

• Expert-level configuration of SAP GTS Compliance Management: SPL screening, embargo controls, export control classification, and legal regulation framework

• Deep expertise in SAP GTS Customs Management across at least three of four key regions: North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific

• Hands-on experience with GTS plug-in configuration and ALE/IDoc interface mapping between GTS and ECC/S/4HANA

• Strong knowledge of GTS legal content structure: legal regulations, legal units, business partner classification, and document service mapping

• Solid understanding of global trade regulations: US EAR/ITAR, EU dual-use, APAC import licensing, incoterms

• Experience working with legal and trade compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into SAP GTS configuration

• Consumer Goods or manufacturing industry background with multi-country export/import operations experience
