"พระสัญญาอันล้ำค่า" (2 เปโตร 1:4)

"Precious promises." (2 Peter 1:4)
God’s precious promises are the promises of the Bible; they are all of free grace and are confirmed by the blood of Jesus. They are so plain that a child can understand them. They meet every need. They are the comfort and strength of every believer. We claim them in prayer; we are strengthened by them in trials and we rejoice in them in the hour of death.
God’s promises are to be your daily comfort. It is for you to search them out, memorise them, trust in them, and be assured of their fulfilment, because, "He is faithful who promised." (Hebrews 10:23) They are more precious than gold; sweeter than honey; more lasting than this world.
"There may be days of darkness and distress,
When sin has power to tempt and care to press;
Yet in the darkest day I will not fear,
For, 'mid the shadows, You will still be near.' "
