"จงอธิษฐานอยู่เสมอ" (1 เธสะโลนิกา 5:17 TNCV)

ผ่านทางการอธิษฐาน เราเข้าเฝ้าพระเจ้าพระบิดาในสวรรค์ของเรา ขอพระองค์สำหรับสิ่งที่เราจำเป็นต้องมีจริงๆ และคาดหวังที่จะได้รับคำตอบตามพระปัญญาของพระองค์และพระสัญญาแห่งพระคำของพระองค์

เราจำเป็นต้องได้รับการช่วยเหลือและการอวยพรจากพระองค์เสมอ ดังนั้นเราจึงควรที่จะอธิษฐานอยู่เสมอ พระเจ้าพร้อมที่จะฟังเราเสมอ และโปรดปรานในคำอธิษฐานที่ทูลขอในพระนามของพระเยซู เราควรอธิษฐานอย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ เหมือนกับการที่เราหายใจ เพราะการอธิษฐานเป็นการหายใจของจิตวิญญาณ

หากการอธิษฐานกลายเป็นเพียงแค่หน้าที่ที่เราทำเป็นครั้งคราว เราควรจะเข้าเฝ้าพระผู้ช่วยของเราด้วยท่าทีใหม่ ด้วยการอธิษฐานเช่นเดียวกับที่เหล่าสาวกในอดีตได้อธิษฐานว่า"พระองค์เจ้าข้า ขอทรงสอนพวกข้าพระองค์อธิษฐาน" (ลูกา 11:1 TNCV)

"Never stop praying." (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

In prayer we come to God, our heavenly Father, asking Him for what we really need, and expecting to receive according to His wisdom and the promises of His Word.

We are always needing His help and blessing, and so should always pray. God is always ready to hear us, and delights in prayer offered in the name of Jesus. We should pray as naturally as we breathe; for prayer is the breath of the soul.

If prayer becomes a mere duty occasionally offered, we should come anew to our Saviour, as the disciples of old, with this prayer, "Lord, teach me to pray." (Luke 11:1)

Everything to God in prayer.
