"ความสุขมีแก่ท่านผู้ขัดสน เพราะอาณาจักรของพระเจ้าเป็นของท่านแล้ว" (ลูกา 6:20 TNCV)

ประชากรของพระเจ้าทั้งหมดขัดสน พวกเขาได้ค้นพบว่าไม่มีสิ่งดีใดๆ ในตัวพวกเขาเองเลย พวกเขาไม่สามารถทำอะไรด้วยตนเองเพื่อที่จะได้รับความหลุดพ้น แต่ในพระเยซู พวกเขามีสิ่งจำเป็นทั้งสิ้น และทุกสิ่งที่พระองค์มีก็เพื่อพวกเขา

"God blesses you who are poor, for the Kingdom of God is yours." (Luke 6:20)

The Lord’s people are all poor. They have come to see that in themselves there is no good thing; they can do nothing of themselves to earn salvation; but in Jesus they have all that they need, and all He has is for them.

When they look at themselves they are discouraged, but when they look to Jesus they rejoice! He has riches of grace, and riches of glory. This then is the present state of the Lord’s poor; Jesus has all that they need in this life, and throughout Eternity.

Am I poor? Jesus promises, "Ask and you will receive." (Matthew 7:7)

Poor in self, rich in Jesus! Poor at present, rich hereafter- for theirs isthe Kingdom of heaven.

"All things are yours, and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s." (1 Corinthians 3:23)

Let the world account me poor, having this I need no more."
