Job Title: SAP BTP Integration and Architect Developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN 

Job Type: ( Hybrid - 25% travel)

Experience Level: Architect level

Rate:  100 /hr on C2C.


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Integration and Architect Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model, and various cloud and on-premise systems. You will play a key role in architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance integration frameworks supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite (including Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh).

  • Develop applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model with Node.js or Java.

  • Architect cloud-native solutions and advise on best practices for performance, scalability, and security.

  • Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce, REST/SOAP APIs, third-party apps).

  • Build custom services, APIs, and microservices hosted on SAP BTP.

  • Create technical architecture and system integration design documents.

  • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and maintain DevOps practices.

  • Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

  • Stay up to date with SAP’s BTP roadmap, new services, and integration patterns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP development and integration; 2+ years specifically in SAP BTP.

  • Expertise in SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.

  • Hands-on experience with CAP, Node.js/Java, XS Advanced, and Fiori/UI5 development.

  • Proficiency in OData services, REST APIs, and OAuth2/JWT authentication mechanisms.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, SAP Business Application Studio, and Transport Management Service (TMS).

  • Familiarity with DevOps and agile project methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP BTP or Integration Suite certifications.

  • Experience with SAP AI Core, SAP Data Intelligence, or SAP Kyma/Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of SAP Business Rules, Workflow Management, and Mobile Services on BTP.
