🚀 We're Hiring: SAP HCM Functional Consultant with CATS Expertise (Onsite/Hybrid - Wichita, KS) 🚀
Are you an SAP CATS expert with strong functional and technical hands-on skills? We are looking for a Senior SAP HCM / CATS Consultant who can own time sheet configurations and provide secondary support to our SAP Technical Lead!
📍 Location: Wichita, Kansas (Onsite/Hybrid)
💼 Work Authorization: US Citizens & Green Card Holders only
🤝 Employment Type: W2 Contract
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Primary (75–80%): Lead the design, configuration, and enhancement of SAP CATS (Cross-Application Time Sheets), including profiles, data entry views (CAT2/CAC2), and validation rules.
Program custom CATS enhancements (BAdIs, user-exits, ABAP logic) to enforce union contract compliance, multi-shift differentials, and non-standard payroll rules.
Manage seamless integration between CATS, Time Management (Infotypes 2001/2002), and Payroll.
Partner with HR, Payroll, and Manufacturing stakeholders to translate complex labor requirements into functional specifications.
Secondary (20–25%): Serve as a designated Backup SAP Technical Lead, assisting with BASIS oversight, transport management, developer unblocking, and technical review forums (TIRB) when needed.
🎯 Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP CATS configuration and development.
Deep knowledge of integration points with SAP Time Management (PT) and SAP Payroll (PY).
Proven ability to program custom CATS logic (BAdIs, user exits, or equivalent ABAP enhancements).
Background supporting shift-based, unionized, or manufacturing labor environments.
Solid understanding of core SAP technical architecture and BASIS fundamentals to provide credible technical lead backup coverage.
🌟 Preferred:
Experience in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing environments.
Exposure to SAP technical governance (Technical Review Boards, Change Control).
