We are actively hiring a Database Developer / DBA for an exciting key initiative with our client, the State of Indiana!

📍 Location & Interview

• Location: Indiana (Must be local for an Onsite, In-Person interview)

• Employment Type: W2 Only

• Visa Constraints: Open to all work authorizations EXCEPT OPT and H1B

🔑 Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or Database Developer / related IT role.

• Core Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).

• Optimization: Proven expertise in database performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and high-availability configurations.

• Security & Recovery: In-depth understanding of database security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.

• Automation: Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for database automation tasks.

• Analytics & BI: Ability to design and implement database solutions supporting business intelligence (BI), reporting, and data analytics.

• Cloud (Plus): Familiarity with cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL) is a strong plus.
