This is the JD - Role Summary:
We are seeking a Planning Analytics/Cognos Developer with expert-level TM1/PA modeling skills to join an existing project team migrating from Cognos 12.0.4 to 12.1 and TM1 2.0.9 to 2.1.
While this role operates within an Open Container Platform (OCP) environment, your primary focus will be the integrity, performance, and modernization of the financial models during the transition to the "NextGen" engine.

Key Migration Responsibilities
Model Reconstruction & Optimization: Lead the technical validation of complex Rules and Feeders during the move to PA 2.1; identify and refactor inefficient logic that may impact performance in a containerized environment.
TurboIntegrator (TI) Engineering: Audit and update TI processes to ensure seamless data movement between CA 12.1 and PA 2.1, specifically addressing any changes in data source connectivity or REST API requirements.
PAW/PAX Development: Design and migrate high-performance Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) books and Excel (PAfE) reports, ensuring a superior UX for end-users post-migration.
Engine Benchmarking: Conduct "Before vs. After" performance testing to ensure the calculation engine and data load times meet or exceed legacy benchmarks.
OCP Collaboration: Work with DevOps to define the necessary CPU and RAM requirements for your models, ensuring the OCP pods are right-sized for the model's memory footprint.

 Technical Requirements:
Advanced TM1 Modeling:
10+ years of hands-on experience building complex, multi-cube models with deep expertise in Rules, Feeders, and TI processes.
PA 2.1 Exposure: Familiarity with the architectural changes in Planning Analytics 2.x and its multi-threaded calculation engine.
Functional OCP Knowledge: Must be comfortable navigating OpenShift/OCP environments (logging in, checking pod status, viewing logs) to support your own development work.
Cognos Integration: Experience ensuring metadata and security synchronization between Cognos Analytics (12.x) and the TM1/PA back-end.
